Organized by the Timbuktu Center for Strategic Studies in the Sahel, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Mali and Black Public Media, the Symposium and Workshop aim to harness the power of film as a catalyst for peace.

The primary goal of this project is to enhance the skills of emerging filmmakers and visual media artists. It focuses on creating compelling content addressing critical issues such as conflict resolution, climate change, women’s empowerment, civic engagement, and cultural heritage in Mali, especially in the Sahel regions.
